Hi World!

It’s been almost a whole month since I last posted on here. Wow! Times flies!

Anyways, in case you were wondering, I have moved house now and I’m pretty much settled in. Still getting used to certain things like taking the train to London and how the buses work around here and stuff like that but otherwise, it’s all cool! The moving and the packing was quite tiring and stressful on some parts. The packing took forever and in the end we were kind of rushing around because we thought we had loads of time but…no. Lol. We did manage to get everything packed by the moving day though and we did get to the estate agents’ office a bit late but then there was a problem. I won’t go into that but basically we had to drive back to London and spend another two nights in the old flat until the Monday morning which when we came back to Stevenage again and then it took forever for my parents to sign all the papers but once all that was done we came here to our new house! My only other complaint was the fact that my arm muscles hurt so bad for a few days after moving from all the lifting of the boxes and stuff. Okay, so blah blah blah. That was pretty boring. Now on to the interesting stuff!

I finally got my camcorder! Yep it’s true It’s a Sony DCR-SX30 and it’s blue! I really wanted a blue one, haha. It’s really awesome and I love it and it’s pretty and uhh…no complaints. Lol.

I know I missed January but that’s only because I was so busy with exams and moving house. That’s the back garden at the new house in case you didn’t know.

Hi. Wow, I’ve got so much news to share! Lol. Umm…where to start? Uhh…I realise that I haven’t posted anything in over two weeks. Apologies! I’ve been so busy lately but I’m a little bit more free now so here I am, lol. I’ll try not to write too much.

Okay so on…not sure when…sometime last year, I guess, I decided that when the first of January came I would start taking a picture on my webcam every single day and try and make it to the 31st of December without forgetting to to do it daily. So far so good, it’s the 16th of January and I have 16 photos You can check out all the pics I’ve taken so far and any future ones here. You can view them that way for now until I figure out how to display all the pics on my website.

I’ve always thought that Big Brother was pointless and stupid but this finally series of CBB has really got me hooked. :S I think it’s because they’ve kinda got a few decent celebrities but I don’t like that I’ve been watching it so much, lol. I feel like I’ve reached a new low. So glad it’s the last series though, haha. I hope Vinnie wins.

So on the 5th that’s when I went back to college after the Christmas holiday. Man, I wish the holiday had been longer. I was so not looking forward to returning. Especially since my first lesson was Photography…for three hours. That was pretty dull, lol. To make it worse it was with my least favourite of the two teachers who I have. Yep, that made it worse, haha. I’ve been trying to improve on my self-portraits but the same question is always asked. Maybe in slightly different ways but it always comes up. “Have you been taking any photos of other people?” “You been taking pictures of yourself again?” Encouragement would be nice. It really would be. Lol. It doesn’t bother me that much though. I’ve gone off Photography slightly..yeah..more on that later though.

So anyways that even after my first day back, I was totally freaked out. My dad was really sick and it really scared me and I was worried as hell. At one point I even noticed that my hands were shaking. Ahh that was horrible. He’s all better now though but it took a while for me to get over. I think that day, I realised that I’m slightly emetophobic (look it up) and my mum said it’s only because it was my Dad and I was worried but nahh I don’t agree with that. The whole thing just kind of freaks me out a little bit to be honest. Anyways!

It snowed that night! It was awesome! I loved it I was a little disappointed when I woke up the next morning though. My college was still open even though there was more snow up there. That really ticked me off, lol. All I wanted was to go out and play in the snow but I had to go to my lesson. I didn’t end up playing the snow after college that day because I was like halfway to frost bite by the time I got home, lol. My fingers were so cold they were sooo painful. It was horrible! Anyways my mum was home and game me soup so it all turned out okay, hahaha.

My mum and I had spent ages trying to find a house to move too because this flat we live in right now is way too small and stupid so we went to look at two houses on the…umm…4th in Stevenage. Both were nice but we chose one that we both really like. It literally only took three days for the references to go through and we got the house!! Yay! Haha. I am pretty excited I’ve never really moved house. Well I have but that was like coming to the UK on holiday and then just never returning home, lol. But this is a real move and I’m really excited for it to happen. 30th of January it’s goodbye London Bridge and hello Stevenage! Woo! ..lol.

Yeahh this is going to end up being a really long post…lol.

Glee started on E4 on Monday…I LOVE that show! American musical/comedy would be the best definition I think. It’s really inspring, I think and the songs and really cool. I approve..lol. But yeah it’s really good. Unlike High School Musical, I’m definitely not embarrassed to say that I enjoy it. I’d watch it again and I have! It’s great, watch it! It’s not just funny though it’s got touching moments too. Like when Mr Schuester walks into the auditorium and sees them singing “Don’t Stop Believin’” by Journey, ahh classic moment! Glee is Rudo Recommended, lol!

On Tuesday I started sort of packing for the move and filled a whole box with just DVDs and PS2 games, haha. More packing to come though. Hard work.

I had two exams on the 13th and 14th. The first was in Media and the second was in Computing. I was really ticked off when I woke up on the 13th because it had snowed quite a bit but I still had to go in for my exam. I just wanted to stay home and play in the snow! Lol but I did grow up though, haha. So uhh…I honestly don’t know whether I did well or not. I did try though so hopefully I got some good enough results. I don’t plan on doing anymore retakes though, lol. No thanks.

Something funny: After my exam on Wednesday…a postman asked me for directions…ahahahaha. Well I found it funny…D:

For the last two days I’ve been packing bit by bit. I’ve actually done a lot today. I’m still in my pyjamas, I stink and all my crap is all over my room, haha. More packing tomorrow then a bit during the week and a lot more next weekend and then last minute stuff the week after and then on the Saturday, we move! Woo, I’m so excited haha.

As I mentioned before, I’ve kind of gone off photography :S Yes, it’s true. I’m really lacking inspiration and I think as I originally thought, it’s only a hobby so I won’t be doing it when I finally go to uni. I’ve decided to do Media instead, specialising in film and television production because I really like making videos and stuff so yeah. That’s what I’m going to do at uni now I’m also getting a new camcorder! :O! Yep, a Sony Handycam. Nothing special. And guess what? I’ll be making loads for videos for youtube and I’ll be posting some special videos just for this website! Stay tuned Since I’m moving soon I won’t really post anything before February but don’t worry I’ll do my best to deliver some really awesome stuff! ^_^

2009 was actually a pretty good year for me. It had it’s ups and downs but it was mostly brilliant! I can’t wait to see what’s in store for me this year! This is gonna be a big year! I can feel it! Can you believe it?! This year has just zoomed by, it’s just crazy! I think this year was pretty good for me. I achieved quite a lot and I’m proud of myself but 2010 will definitely be a big year for me, I can just feel it!! Hehe.

I’ve bought my presents now and they’re all wrapped up nicely which is gooood! I bought four this year which is twice as much as I normal, haha. I usually get one for my mum and another for my dad but this year I got one for my sister and another for my brother too. I’m quite proud of myself really. It actually feels pretty good to be spending money on others than on myself all the time. Next year I ought to buy five presents though coz I didn’t get anything for my oldest brother. I do feel nbad about that but I’ll be sure to make up for it next year

I pretty much already know what I’m getting, lol. I already pretty much got my present a few weeks ago. My TV broke and my mum bought me a new one so I’m just getting like two dvd box sets tomorrow. I’m pleased though because I LOVE Supernatural, haha, Hope you do too, it’s a great show.

Anyways, I’m done ranting. Have a good Christmas and Boxing Day and I’ll be back just before New Years with another post about how my christmas was and stuff and maybe a new YouTube video!

Are you excited?! I know I am! I’ve just got five days left of college and then I’m free for just over two weeks which is awesome! Can’t wait for that. I definitely need a break.

Anyways, here’s what’s up:

I might’ve mentioned this before (not too sure) but I’ve been working on a music video for “Writer’s Block” by Just Jack with my group for my Media Studies A-Level. It’s been really long and somewhat frustrating but I’m pleased to announce that we’re finally done! The deadline was Friday and we finished on Thursday which was cool. Such a relief because I was really starting to get tired of it all. Anyways glad it’s all done now. Unfortunately, I’m not allowed to show you the video because of copyright. We only have permission to make the video for the song for our A-level and that’s it. We’re not allowed to show it to anyone though which is pretty lame but oh well. It was pretty good though. I think we did quite well. Our teacher said it could be a high B or an A so I’m pretty proud. We’re going to the cinema on Thursday to watch all of our music videos so that’s gonna be cool. Can’t wait for everyone (media students) to see ours and can’t wait to see everyone elses. Should be cool, should be awesome. Here’s a little screen capture from our video:

Wow, I just realised that they’re all horrors, lol. Ah well, I enjoyed them anyway. They were all pretty good. Although I have to say, The Last House on the Left doesn’t seem to link with it’s title. It’s not what I expected. I expected maybe a street somewhere and there’s some freaky stuff that happens on the last house on the left but no it was about some girl who goes to like a summer house with her parents then she goes to hang out with her friend and they end up smoking pot with this guy who’s dad is like a criminal and they get kidnapped and the girl’s friend is killed and then yada yada yada. It was weird lol. Not what I expected but it was still good. All the movies were really good though except Jennifer’s Body…that was really weird. I just didn’t get it. It made no sense, lol. It was strange. Umm…Paranormal Activity is definitely the scariest movie I’ve ever seen. I never usually get scared, I enjoy horrors a lot but this one definitely left me paranoid for a while, haha. It was really good though. I want to watch it again but I don’t want to do it alone, lmao. It’s amazing though, really amazing. I think what makes it good is the fact that it’s really realistic and that’s what makes it scarier. You know there’s something there but you just can’t see it and you don’t know what it wants. It’s awesome! Haha. It’s made in the same way as the Blair Witch Project but it’s a million times better. It had such a small budget ($50,000) and yet it’s made over $140 million. It’s that good! Go and watch it! ……take someone with you though. Lol.

I finally made a layout for my Go Get ‘Em Goodbye! MySpace profile. I’ve been putting it off for ages and finally made an effort to do so on Saturday night. It’s not amazing but I reckon if it’d spent more time working on it, it would’ve been better. Oh well, the next one will be good! Go check it out though, and tell me what you think. Click here.

I’ve got so much stuff to do this week before the end of term, it’s killing me. Hopefully I’ll get it all done though. It should be easier now that I’ve finished the music video for Media. I’ve still got to take some new shots for my photography class and I’m working on an essay on self-portraits which is pretty boring and I’ve only done about 300 words out of 1,500. Wish me luck though, we’ll see how much I’ve done by the time I go to my next lesson. Anyways enough boring talk. I’ll be back next week with a more interesting post about Christmas!!! Yay! Haha, can’t wait.

On Sunday evening I went to Great Portland Street to BBC Radio 1 and waited for an hour in the cold just so I could meet Justin Bieber. So worth it. He signed my picture (of him) and he patted my shoulder and thanked me for coming (or someting like that). I think he remembered me from the last time he came to London and I met him at Universal Records. Anyway, it was a fun night and here’s a picture I took of him:

I’ve recently gotten into making videos for fun. Actually I started out making the videos for my grandmother and then I thought, “this is pretty cool” so I posted a new video to YouTube. I’m currently working on a new song (it doesn’t have a name yet) and it’s sounding really sweet! It’s got a kind of dance/pop kind of feel to it. It is pretty different to my usual stuff but I do hope you’ll like it anyways. It should be done within the next few days. Cross your fingers!

I got my new microphone on Wednesday. It looks pretty cool. I can’t use it yet though because I ordered the cable from a different seller and it’s not here yet so..I’ll only get to test it out tomorrow or something.
